It's the result of an experiment mixing oolong and black tea processing. The tea is rolled and fermented like black tea but has the traditional oolong-processing steps of "killing the green" and roasting. Red Oolong has a natural honey flavor, a ripened longan fruit aroma, and a nectar-like silky body.
